We will collaborate with you to create fine sculptures in many styles and in any size. We’ve been populating the world with our "future heirlooms" for some 35 years. Our purpose is to provide you the most effective, meaningful, and long-lasting embodiment of our collective concept as possible. |

This means we have to be the best at what we do, and a cursory browse of the Internet will reveal that some of the best outdoor wooden statuary made in America is being produced by Timeless Sculptures. To this end, we operate an apprenticeship program designed to train artists -- some who go on to replicate Matthew G. Welter’s awesome designs for his clients. At this time, special considerations are being given to commissions that provide practice for larger monuments yet to be created. Someday your commissioned piece could inspire a monument to rise in the Freedom Park we are planning.

Here’s How the Design Process Unfolds Matthew can design with you over the Internet or in person, drawing on a lifetime of experience in anatomy, balance and composition. The work, according to your wishes, will be executed by an accomplished Journeyman Apprentice, a Master Apprentice, or by Mr. Welter himself. |

The concept and design process begins when you e-mail us with your contact information and a brief outline of your ideas and needs. Next, Matthew Welter will call you on the phone whenever you specify, to hear about your ideas and answer your questions. He can direct you to places on this website, as you talk, to aid the exchange of ideas. An exchange of pictures, graphics and sketches may be carried out over time, if necessary, though customers can usually receive a price quote on that first call. We may then provide a concept-sketch (applicable fees may be deductible from your order if placed.) We’ll also provide you with a commissioner’s purchase order, complete with a verbal description of your proposed order and any pertinent design material. |
